Research COPELLL - Lifelong Learning for Competitiveness in Small and Medium Enterprises (2011-2013) It was a project funded by the European Lifelong Learning (KA1 / ETEC). The partners were the following: Universidade Aberta (leader), The Catholic University of Portugal/CEPCEP, CECOA and CINEL. Its main purpose was the awareness and training of entrepreneurs of small and medium enterprises to the potential of lifelong learning (LLL).
Objectives of this study were to identify specific needs of ALV and good business practices in ALV; the awareness of the entrepreneurs of SMEs to the benefits of lifelong learning, and productivity, competitiveness and innovation.
To this was done the needs assessment of the education and training of SME entrepreneurs in Portugal, as well as initiatives and offers education and training available to this audience. It was been also made the identification and characterization of good business practice in lifelong learning and dissemination and awareness actions for the ALV.
